About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Frankfurt - Shanghai-Hong Kong two tickets

Am I allowed the 144hrs twov freedom if I fly from Frankfurt to Shanghai and after three nights to Hong Kong on a different ticket?? I will book two tickets.
