Visa for New Zealanders

We are New Zealanders, travelling overland. We have arranged a tour and guides in China. We cannot apply for a visa in New Zealand because of the 90 day time limit. Can we pick up our China entry permit in Teheran?

If you don't have residence permit in Iran, I'm afraid you cannot apply Chinese visa in there.
