About:Embassy of Saudi Arabia in China

Arrive from Seoul and leave from Shanghai

Dear Sirs,

I am holder of an Italian passport.
I will arrive in Shenzhen from Seoul on Saturday 30/03 and already have my final flight back to Italy from Shanghai on the 3rd of April.
Getting the 5 VOA can I travel - just in transit to Shanghai on Tuesday afternoon 2/04?

Oh, you cannot apply for the VOA and you are not eligible for 144 hours visa free policy. You need to apply for the visa in advance in your country.

Hi Benjamin,
May I know why you say so?
The problem is that I have no time to make a normal visa since I’m leaving Italy this Saturday.
I still can change my flights.
For instance, Seoul/Shenzhen/HK and then fly to Shanghai to take my return flight...

If you want to enjoy the 144 hours visa free policy, you should only have one stop in China.
