About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

144 hr visa eligible with other city transit

Hi am I eligible if arrive Shanghai from Amsterdam but exit 4 days later is Shanghai, but transit 3hrs Guangzhou to Sydney? All same airline (China Southern)

You won't qualify for 144h twov in Shanghai because of the layover in Guangzhou. Try to apply for a visa for the trip beforehand.
