About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Is there a 24-hour lounge in Terminal 1 Arrival Hall at Shanghai Pudong Airport? Are taxis safe?

(1) I will be arriving at PVG very early at 5+ in the morning via China Eastern Airline. Is there a 24-hours airport lounge in the ARRIVAL HALL that I could use till I hail a taxi to Lujiazui Ring Road a few hours later. How much is it and do I have to book in advance? Where exactly is it located? If there isn't any in the arrival hall, can I use the ones at the departure halls?
(2) Also, if I take a taxi from the airport, is it safe? Are the taxis metered or is the price decided by the taxi driver? Is there any surcharge or toll fee when travelling out from the airport?

1. Yes, you can find the hourly lounge at PVG. You can easily find it based on the detailed English signs at the airport. In general, you don't need to book in advance. Sorry I cannot find the exact price on the Internet. Besides, of course you can use the seats at the public area of departure hall.

2. Generally speaking, you don't need to worry about the safety problem. The official cabs at the airport have taximeters. There is no surcharge or toll fee. It is included in the cab fare.
