Can I get Chinese Visa even my employer passport is still at China Embassy?

My employer is Chinese National. She wants me bring at China for Vacation. She already booking for our flight on March 31, 2019 but until her passport not yet processing for PHILIPPINES entry permit. please help me.

Hi, you are advised to apply for Chinese visa after you get your passport. You can contact the embassy to inquire that if you doubt that.
