Employee work visit to facility based in China

We have an employee (Commercial Director) based in the UK that needs to visit our facility in China and also visit customers, will he need a Business Visa (M) or a Work/ Employment Visa (Z)? I have read the above information for both and I wasn't sure which is the correct one

A business visa is enough. Work visa is for those working long time in China; it needs more documents for the application.
