does my wife and daughter need a return ticket back to philippines when entering on a s2 visa?

I think the return ticket is not necessary.

Hi Rose, you were right. My family has arrived and no return tickets to China from Philippines were required. It was easy using just our passports and airline boarding passes to enter into China. The fingerscanning was done to me and my wife, but not the child. Thanks again for your assistance.
