About:Chinese Embassy in India

US citizen traveling from India to china

I'm a US citizen residing in Karnataka.
- Which consulate should I apply to?
- Can we get the visa through mail or does it have to be done by an agent in person?

You are supposed to go to the CVASC to apply, and you can find someone else to do that on your behalf if you cannot go there in person.
