About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

More of the same question about Beijing 144hours visa free policy

After posting my question, I have seen in another forum that, for some strange reason, this 9-hour bullet train can't be used to exit China (from BJ to Hong Kong) using the 144-hour visa free option, but that the slower overnight train (also BJ - Hong Kong) can be used. The person posting this information admitted that this is an anomaly but maintained that this is really so. And it is obvious that both trains have stopovers (even if you are not allowed to leave the train if you are a BJ - Hong Kong passenger). Could anybody shed some light about this?

You can only leave via Beijing West railway station.

The high speed train doesn't have the Hong Kong only cars (and many stops along the way) which why you must take the slow train. Slow train exit formalities are handled in Beiijing and fast train it's not.

Yes, I know that this bullet train leaves from the West station, the question is if I can use this Beijing - Hong Kong bullet train as a "way out", because I have read contradictory information in different places.

In other words: that I can't use the 9-hour bullet train from Beijing to Hong Kong as a "way out" if I am without visa, is it so? If it is so, it would be convenient to clarify this in the information in the web site.
