About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Two visa free entries ?

Can I have a 144 hour free transit UK-Beijing-Hong Kong

Then return with a 72 hour free transit Hong Kong-Chengdu-UK ?

As long as those are only landings then both work. Chengdu just increased to 144 hours. Though there are no non-stop flights Chengdu > UK, several airlines have a second stop in mainland china which would not be allowed.
