is there a direct high speed train from Hong Kong to Shantou?

Hi! Is there a direct high speed train from Hong Kong to Shantou? Which are the served stations? Which is the company?

There is no direct rail. You could only try to take a transfer at Shenzhen city. Such as taking a train from Hong Kong West Kowloon to Shenzhen North, then from Shenzhen North to Shantou.

However, I found that it is possible to reach Shantou from Hong Kong by direct train. The station is Chaoshan Railway Station!
