About:China Visa on Arrival

VOA in XIAMEN airport

Slightly confused with the visa eligibility. I'm a Malaysian, can I apply for a VOA at Xiamen Airport. Many thanks for the info.

There's no VOA at Xiamen airport for any nationalities.

This contradicts this article. Are you sure?
SEZ (special economic zone) visa is available in Xiamen or not?

IIRC there is no mention of that in Timatic so pretty sure you will be refused boarding by the airline. Also you are an Malaysian national so no visa-free transit in Xiamen for you either (which is weird given that most Malaysian Chinese are of Hokkien descent).
