can we purchase forbidden city ticket at the entrance?

Hi myself and other 4 friends, are going to Beijing from march 8 to 10, we are planning to visit it on march 10. It is recommended to buy our tickets on advance but because of the season we can buy tickets there.  . Thanks

You can purchase the tickets when you arriving at the scenic area. But you are advised to go there as soon as possible because there will have more tourists during weekends.
