About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Visa for New Zealand citizen

Hi. I have a New Zealand passport and I currently live in Tokyo, Japan. I will visit Chengdu for 2 days (business trip).
Do I need VISA? Where can I apply?

Hi, you need to apply for visit L type from the CVASC. But if possible, you are not advised to make the application from Japan because it is rather difficult for non-resident applicants to get the visa for China from there.
