About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Travelling from Macau to Beijing to Hong Kong and staying for just under 3 days in March

I am a little confused as to the difference between the 72 hour and 144-hour free transit and would be keen to understand if either / both apply to this trip? I know the transit from Macau and to HK is good for this as well right?

Your transit is in Beijing so you can do the 144 hour. 72 vs 144 depends on the city. You transit as some increased to 144, some are still 72 and some only do 24 hour direct transit. Urumqi is strict at Max 2 hours. 4 cities don't participate at all
