About:China Visa on Arrival

Hi, Hawaii residents trying to figure out if we need and how to obtain a visa to travel to Xiamen.

Aloha! We are trying to plan a trip to Xiamen but not sure if we need to apply for a visa. And if so, some sites say we can apply in the airport, others say use a commercial entry permit agent. Can someone please clarify if any of this is true?

You can't get a visa at the airport. You don't need a visa to transit for 144 hours but you must make sure that your route and passport qualify for this. But USA citizens can get 10-year visa, that's the best choice.
