Staying in shanghai for 3 nights travelling from Australia before boarding a 7 night cruise to Tokyo

Then back to shanghai to fly home am I covered with the 144 hour transit visa

Hi, if the cruise will not stop by any other China's cities after departing from Shanghai, then you are covered with the transit visa.
