Hello, I'm wondering if my dad and I could do US to Beijing to Hong Kong to Shanghai to US? Thank you for your help. You mentioned 72 is gone, and now only 144 is applicable? And I wanted to verify we would apply for this when boarding for Beijing? Thank you, Quin

USA-Beijing-Hong Kong-Shanghai-USA will qualify for 144 hours transit without visa in both Beijing and Shanghai, as long as these are your only stops and you are travelling on a passport from one of the 53 qualifying countries.
