If your layover time in Beijing is within 24 hours, you can use the free transit. No transit G type is needed.

If I have Kazakhstan passport, and fly from Astana to Auckland is 24 hours free transit is still applicable for citizens of Kazakhstan. Or I should do double-entry visa?
