About:Urumqi Tianshan Airport

I am a Russian passport holder going to Turkmenistan from Almaty via Urumqi.

I will be staying at Urumqi for 11 hours transit. Use two different airlines, so I will have to take my baggage and register for the flight again.do I need a transit Chinese visa to stay inside airport for 11 hours?
