Italian resident in Japan, visa for China travel

Hello,
From the information I got through this website, I can get a Touristic Visa for China from the Chinese embassy in Tokyo since I'm an Italian citizen, holding an Italian passport, resident of Japan.

My question is: can I go directly to the embassy or I need to use a travel agency?

And if I can go directly what documents do I need to apply for the visa?

Thank you

Hi, you can apply it in the Chinese Visa Application Service Center and it is not necessary to find a travel agency. The documents you need to prepare include your passport, application form, recent photo, round-trip tickets or invitation letter from China. The specific documents you can search on the official website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center. Hope helpful.
