About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Is there any special requirements for Canadian citizens

I am travelling from Canada to Beijing and want to do a 72 hour stopover and then going to India with a transit through Korea. So Depart Canada - arrive in Beijing - Depart Beijing to Korea onward to India. Am I able to use the 72 stopover and is there any additional requirements Canadians need to meet in addition to what is already required. Also is there a fee at the airport for the 72 hour stopover visa.

Yes, you are able to use the free transit in Beijing with a over 3 months passport.

There are no additional requirements and there is no fee since it's not a visa.
