About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit visas to go out of the Shanghai PVG Airport for a 19 hours stop over in China

I am a canadian citizen and travel from Toronto to Colombo Sri Lanka for a holiday. My stop over in Shanghai and it is 19 hours. I am going to stay in a hotel in Shanghai in my stop over. Do I need a visa for 19 hours to go out of the Shanghai Airport.

You do not but immigration will need to see the hotel reservation.
