About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

BKK-CAN-->Bullet-train to Hongkong

Jul 20th BKK-CAN then Jul 22nd Bullet-train to Hongkong
Am I eligible for free transit?

Thanks Henry. Why do I need a visa? Doesn't the 72 hour free transit cover this? Or does one need to ENTER and EXIT at same port of entry (ie CAN-airport)? Tks for your advice.

Yes, you would have to fly to Hong Kong. You can't take the train.
