About:China Transit Visa

Do I need transit visa? I am Thai, holding thai passport but living in france with residence permit

and have 10 years visa united states of america. I have round-trip tickets from geneva to thailand (traveling with my family (french) 4 people) I need to transit at chengdu airport for 8 hrs. and for return at beijing airport for 20 hrs. I need a transit visa to go out of the airports with my family?

You don't need transit G type because you are able to apply 24h twov in China.
