About:Chinese Permanent Residence Permit

Obtaining permanent residence in China as a former Chinese

Hi,

I have heard that many Chinese people who choose to go overseas and obtain foreign passport was able to obtain Chinese residence card.

I was born in China and came to Denmark when I was 3, I am currently applying for Danish Passport but I wish to stay connected to my roots, I have family in China and my parents have Chinese passport and a few apartments in China. I never had Chinese identity as I stayed in Denmark almost my entire live. Is it possible for me to obtain permanent residence? and if so what are the documents that I need to provide?

Extra information I am from Qingtian (but I don't think I have hukou)

Looking forward for your reply.
Sincerely
LY

Maybe there is a chance for you to apply for permanent residence permit in China. But I cannot guarantee that. You are advised to contact the Exit-Entry Administration to inquire the details.
