About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

2 separate trips

Can you use the 72-hour free visa multiples times in a month? I have two trips that pass through Shanghai:

#1 LAX / stop for 2 days in Shanghai / Phuket one week - all one way tickets

#2 Phuket / Shanghai / LAX - this is one ticket, Shanghai stop is a layover for 17hours

Of course, as long as your passport and itinerary qualify you could do it every day if you wanted to.
