About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Paperwork

Do you need to apply to be exempt from needing a visa or do you need any paperwork to back up that you're exempt from needing a voa? For instance, if you are exempt do you just arrive from a connecting flight as normal?

You will need to show onward boarding pass or e-ticket of next flight

Depending on airport you are arriving at - there are arrows directing you to “international transfers” (no need for visa or visa-free) or “48/72hr visa free” - you will need documents showing next flight leaving China or “foreigners”.
