KIX - PVG - SEA

Hello,

My girlfriend and I will be flying from Osaka (KIX) to Shanghai (PVG) and staying in Shanghai for 48 hours the flying back to the United States (SEA). Do we qualify for the 72 hour visa exemption. We are both American passport holders.
