About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

I'm a X1 visa holder and i have temporary residence permit

valid this coming last month of January 2019. My question is can i extend a 30 days visa then go back to my country after the validity? Because i quit my studies here in china and want to go back to my country this march. But i need 30 days to stay in china. Can i extend a 30 days entry permit? and what are the requirements? And where can i apply? Thanks.

You can try to apply for the extension. Or you can change the X into L type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. Just give it a try.

If you apply L type, you may need to provide your passport, the completed application form, a recently-taken bareheaded color photo, registration form of temporary residence, accommodation arrangement and the return ticket.
