About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying into one city and out of another that are in Hong Kong area

I am flying from US to Beijing (staying overnight and will visit the Great Wall) then heading to Laos. (so enter on the 10th leave on the 11th)

Then on the 20th would fly from Krabi,Thailand to Hong Kong and then the next day flying out of Guangzhou to fly to the US.

Is all of this allowed without a Visa?

Yes. You can use free transit in China. No visa will be needed.

If you fly HK - Guangzhou - US then you don't need a visa.
If you use the train from HK to Guangzhou, you'll need a visa.

You don't need a visa when flying from HK to Guangzhou. You need a visa otherwise.

Recent reports a month ago indicated that the Mainland Chinese preclearance facility within HK does not allow anyone without a visa to board the train. You can try for yourself but it will be a huge waste of money if you miss your flight.
