China Visa for Iranian citizen

I am an Iranian citizen currently traveling in SE-Asia. I planned to visit China as well and wanted to ask if I can apply for a Tourist entry permit in the embassy in KL, or if its mandatory to do it in the embassy in Iran.

If you have valid residence permit or visa in Malaysia, you could apply for tourist L type from the CVASC in there. You can have a try.
