Do we have to have a visa? We are traveling from LAX in the USA to Beijing for three days.

We will be in BJ seeing the great wall and forbidden city, ETC. We will then travel from BJ to Thailand for a week and a half. Through our travel company, we will have to go from Phuket back to BJ with an eight hour layover in BJ, then back to LAX.
