Seattle - LA - Tokyo - Shanghai - Tokyo - Vancouver, Canada - Seattle

I’m a US passport holder. Only staying in Shanghai for less than 72 hours, does this route qualify for 144 TWOV?

No, your entry and exit countries cannot be the same. This is not transit but trip to China
