Renew temporary residence permit
Dear all,
I am living and working in China now. My residence permit will be expired on 19th May 2019, then I will have to renew it as I will have another 1 year contract with the Company.
My questions are:
1. What documents I need to apply? Like previous time when I was applying residence permit, I did have to perform the medical check for foreigner and waited for 3 days then came to Police office in Shanghai to apply.
2. How long does it take to get the passport with new residence permit? Last time it took 3 weeks to get the residence permit.
3. If the old residence permit is expired on 19th May 2019 and assume that the process of applying new permit is taking 3 weeks, so does it mean that I have to go to the Local Police Office in Shanghai to apply new permit before 28th Apr?
