About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Connecting flight international to international at Beijing Capital Airport

Hello, I will be arriving in PEK from YVR (Vancouver) at 3:30pm (15:30 hours) via Air China to connect to a flight to HND (Tokyo) which departs at 5:10pm (17:10 hours) via Air China and I feel like this time frame cuts it pretty close. Does this leave me enough time to get to my connecting flight without issues? Are there any tips on ensuring a smooth transition? Do we have to pick up our luggage or will t be transferred to our plane automatically? Any information will be very helpful! Thank you!

Yes, generally speaking, the time is enough. The both two flights are in T3. Don't worry.
You can easily find the transfer direction when you arriving at PEK because there are many detailed English signs. You don't need to pick up your luggage. If you purchase the interline tickets, your luggage will be transferred to the next plane automatically.
