Lithium batteries confiscated

Hi! I had one stop in Beijing and they took 2 camera lithium batteries for the reason that is a prohibited item in China but from the carry on luggage they didn't. Why? Where do I need to complain to? Thank you.

Hi, the lithium batteries cannot be put into the check in luggage since it is easily burst so nearly every air company has such rules.
