HKG Transfer Visa for Ferry

Hi,
I am Iranian national living in US. I have a China and entry permit I want to fly to HKG and take ferry to Shenzhen. I do not have HKG visa (it is required for Iranian to enter Honk Kong). Can I still fly to Honk Kong and and transfer to mainland using ferry and my entry permit?

Iranians require a visa at all times even when not leaving the transit area (which is the case for anyone taking the ferry at HKG airport). There are no special exemptions for green card/US visa holders. You should seriously consider changing your flights as getting a HK visa requires loads of paperwork and can easily take months when applying at the Chinese embassy or weeks when applying directly to HK immigration.

Also Mainland visa is not valid in HK either so you need a separate visa.
