14 hour layover in PEK Beijing Capital, Philippine passport

Greetings! I am from Manila and my family and I will be going to the US in June 2019 with an 11 hour layover going to the US and 14 hour layover going back to the Philippines. Do we need to get a visa because we our country is not included in those who are granted a free visa entry? What are the procedures to get this? Thank you so much & hoping for your response!

Hi, you don't need a visa but a stay permit is necessary. You need to complete the "embarkation/disembarkation card", together with your travel documents, boarding pass for the onward connecting flight and travel itinerary, go to the inspection counter of China Immigration Inspection to apply for 24h stay permit in Beijing Airport.
