About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

can i fly UK-Shanghai-UK?

Can I fly the above route? i'm confused

No. Fly to Hong Kong then back to Shanghai then you can fly back to UK. You need to travel to a third country to be eligible. Otherwise you need a visa.
