About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Visa free transit. I am a Canadian citizen.

I plan to travel from Hong Kong via Beijing to Soeul ,South Korea. I arrive at Beijing at 3:20 PM on March 10, 2019 and leave Beijing on March 13, 2019 at 3:30 PM. Do I qualify for 72 or 144 hour free transit? I had booked hotel room. Do I have to report to police station when I stay over in Beijing? Please advice me. Wish you have a wonderful 2019. That is eligible for up to 144 hours in Beijing. Hotel will take care of the police registration.
