About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

do the two legs have to be on the same ticket?

wondering if i would be able to book leg 1 into china on one airline and have another ticket from another airline to fly out of china? or does the "transfer" have to be on one booking?

It doesn't have to be on the same ticket. Two separate tickets are fine.
