About:China Transit Visa

2 transits in 10 days

Hi there, we plan to travel to the Philippines and transit through Guangzhou on the way there. So we want to stay for 1-2 nights.
And then returning we plan to transit from Shanghai and also stay 1-2 night.

We will have about 10 days in between the two transits. Is that ok? We have passports that don’t require transit Gs.

You qualify for the free transit in China in both ways. No visa will be needed. Nice trip.

Thank you! And do you know if we travel from Guangzhou to Hong Kong (where we don't need visa) and then back to Guangzhou, will that be counted as 2 transits too?

That is only possible if you travel to HK by air.
