About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

On L Visa and now want to settle down

Hi All,
I am currently on an L and I now want to settle down in China and start a business with my girlfriend. My girlfriend is a Chinese citizen but we are not married.

Any ideas on how I can get my residence?

If so, you can try to change your L type into work Z type. Then you can apply for the Chinese residence permit at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB.

Usually, bachelor degree are needed when you apply for the work Z type. Thus, I cannot give you a definite answer.
