Do you need to book a time to apply for Visa in Oslo?

Is it drop-in without any need to book a specific time for application in Oslo?
A colleague of mine with a Norwegian passport will be applying for a visa shortly and I can not find any indication that you need to book a time online but rather its enough to come to the consular office.

As I know, you don't have to book an appointment for that. You are advised to contact the visa office to inquire if you doubt that.
