About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Traveling to Shanghai, Hong Kong and then Shanghai again.

Hi, next year, I'll be traveling from canada to Shanghai. I'll stay 3 days in Shanghai, then 7 days in Hong Kong and back to Shanghai for another 3 days. Does that qualify for the 72 hours free transit since I'll quit Shanghai and come back in a week later? Thank you

Canada > Shanghai > Hong Kong > Shanghai > Canada is allowed. You can transit Shanghai twice even if its the next day. Any other landings in China or Hong Kong other than what you mention could change the answer.
