Working Visa. Hi, my friend is a British national.

She wants to notarise and authenticate the relevant documents for a work z before she comes to China then come to Shanghai on a tourist l to look for Interior Design work. After receiving an offer of employment from a company in Shanghai, can she apply for the work z in China without leaving the country or will she have to return to the UK (or Hong Kong) to do this ? Thank you

It's possible for your friend to change the tourist L type into work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can succeed, she doesn't need to leave the country for that.
