About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Separate tickets. Will this qualify for 24 hour direct transfer

Hi, I'm quite worried about my itinerary as have booked myself on 2 separate tickets to save money, no feel sick I might be denied boarding.

22/12 Christchurch - Guangzhou - Beijing (ticket 1) - Seoul (ticket 2) (I have a C4 visa for Seoul)

26/1 Seoul - Beijing (ticket 2) Beijing - Guangzhou - Christchurch

I'm less than 24 hours in China each time but booked with two different airlines, although they are China Southern and Korean Air so part of the same sky team

Separate tickets are ok. Just make sure the time from scheduled landing in China and the scheduled departure is under 24 hours. Bring print out of confirmations showing the ticket number. Emirates is the only airline that I know of that gives hassle on separate tickets.

I haven’t been able to get official confirmation as the Chinese Embassy in Christchurch isn’t getting back to me, but from everything I’ve read and the advice given on here I think it’s ok.
