Hi there,Myself (UK citizen) and my friend (Romanian citizen) will be flying from Bangkok to London on 27th February 2019.Our flight has a 7 hour layover in Bao’an International Airport on 28th February 2019.Do either of us need to apply for a visa on arrival (is that even possible at Bao’an airport?) or are we eligible for the 24 hour transit free?We are not planning to leave the airport during the 7 hour layover.Contradictory information on the Internet..Thank you for your help.Best wishes,Liz

Hi Claudia,I’ve emailed the Chinese Embassy in Romania and their reply read that we won’t be needing a visa as long as we don’t leave the airport in Shenzhen during our layover.To double check, I suggest you email them too - for peace of mind, if nothing else.Let me know what they say, I’m expecting for them to say the same thing.Good luck :)Liz

Hi there,

Myself (UK citizen) and my friend (Romanian citizen) will be flying from Bangkok to London on 27th February 2019.
